JUBA, March 20, 2014 (NASS) – South Sudan Foreign Affair and International Cooperation Minister Dr Barnaba Marial Benjamin has called on Zimbabwe investors to venture into the huge investment opportunities in the country.
Besides lauding the people and the government of Zimbabwe for it’s significant role-played during South Sudan’s liberation struggle and nation building process, Dr. Benjamin noted, “investing in South Sudan would foster good relationships between the two sisterly African countries
Dr. Benjamin (r) welcomes the Zimbabwean deputy Information Minister Mandiwanzira (c) prior to the meeting Dr. Benjamin made the comments on Wednesday while meeting a team of business people from Zimbabwe. He told the visiting business team that the country has investment opportunities in the areas of tourism, agriculture, mining, and energy among others.
The head of the business team Supa Mandiwanzira, who is also the Zimbabwean deputy minister of information on their side promised to encourage Zimbabwean investment in South Sudan and he assured that plans are underway to sign memorandum of understandings between his governments and that of South Sudan.
