The Embassy Mission Statement
The Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan is to promote the national interests of South Sudan, through international cooperation for the purposes of consolidating universal peace and security, respect for international law, treaty obligations and fostering a just world economic order
The Ambassador is the personal representative of the President of the Republic of South Sudan. As the Chief advocate of South Sudan policy, he is supported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and other South Sudan institutions.
The Embassy reports and analyses developments in Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands and European Union of concern to the Republic of South Sudan, and advance a broad range of South Sudan policy initiatives in order to enhance economic cooperation and also promotion of dialogue among civilizations and establishment of International order based on justice and common human destiny;
The Embassy promotes South Sudan’s economic and commercial interests, through enhancement of economic cooperation among countries of the region, and international organisations such EU-Africa Partnership Agreements, Africa Caribbean Pacific and other relevant commercial agencies for the purposes of advancing development in South Sudan.
The Embassy engages the governments and a broad range of organizations and individuals in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg to promote shared values. Among others, these include individual freedom, human rights and democracy and the rule of law.
