Government of the Southern Sudan’s concern on the CPA

The Committee of the preparations of the third anniversary of the Comprehensive
Peace Agreement headed by the Undersecretary of the Presidential Affairs in the
Government of Southern Sudan H.E George Justin arrived yesterday from Wau. He
told reporters at Juba airport that the preparation of the celebrations were
well fantastic. He further added that, he visited the whole areas in Wau, and
that the government of Southern Sudan is ready for the celebrations. He called
for the citizens to attend the celebration, as it has been a goal strategy of
the Comprehensive Peace Agreement. Already the citizens from Wau are starting
to receive visitors from various places for the celebrations.

The Government of Southern Sudan is preparing to achieve security and stability
in Bahr el-Ghazal state capital of Wau H.E George Justin stated. He assured
that, the celebrations will start on the 12th January 2008 and will sport
various activities continuing up to the 16th of the month.

On the 14th January the President of the Government of Southern Sudan H.E Salva
Kiir Mayardit will open the CPA celebration and address the citizens.
